A thrilling supercar track day at the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit has raised an incredible £11,000 for My Charity.
The funds will will support improvements across children’s hospital wards.
Hosted by Saywell International in June 2026, the annual event brought together around 2,000 visitors for a day packed with high-speed excitement, fundraising activities and community spirit.
Led by Peter Saywell, Chief Executive of Saywell International, the event showcased his impressive fleet of supercars, with visitors given the opportunity to purchase discounted passenger experiences and be driven at speed around the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit.

The funding will be used to improve the children’s wards at Worthing and St Richard’s hospitals, as well as upgrade essential equipment, including a vein-finder machine. This technology helps reduce stress for young patients by enabling paediatric teams to locate veins more quickly and accurately, increasing the likelihood of successful blood tests on the first attempt.
Car enthusiasts also enjoyed getting up close to the stunning collection of vehicles, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Porsches, and more. With many taking photographs and meeting fellow motorsport fans throughout the day.

Alongside the on-track action, visitors supported fundraising efforts through a raffle and the chance to win a deluxe hamper, helping to boost the total raised for My Charity.
Despite soaring temperatures and the intense heat radiating from the tarmac, the event proved to be a huge success. The atmosphere throughout the day was one of excitement and generosity, with plenty of smiling faces and a shared determination to support local NHS hospitals.

To make the day even more special, a group from Waterhaven Place Care Home attended and enjoyed the festivities. They were even given the opportunity to follow the supercar victory lap around the circuit in their minibus.
Cheryl Tyson, Customer Relations Manager at Waterhaven Place Care Home, said: “Some days remind you exactly why you do what you do. For one of our residents, Keith, it was much more than a day out. A lifelong motoring enthusiast, Keith has spent years restoring classic Bentleys, including the Bentley once owned by King Edward VII, now displayed in a museum in Germany. Seeing him fulfil a lifelong dream by experiencing a high-speed passenger ride in a Porsche 911, reaching 157mph around the circuit, was truly unforgettable.”
