Cerys’ story: why we can’t wait
“When I was 23, my body tried to kill me. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. The Sussex Cancer Centre became a second home, and from the first moment, I saw the problems. The long hours spent in chemotherapy let me see how crowded and stressed the building is. It feels like being a mouse in a maze. We need a new centre that is worthy of the name, somewhere therapeutic where patients can have the space to breathe.”
